People applaud battery technology when they reach a milestone like 24 hours on a single charge. HP has recently released their own netbook claiming 24 wonderous hours of battery life. Really battery technology has not changed in the laptop market, what has changed is the hardware that goes along with that battery. I would really like to see longer battery life out of the full size and power laptops that are out there now. Once I see that then I will be more impressed. While I see the usefulness of a netbook I am not surprised at their ability to last 24 hours on a single charge.
